2. How to Start Your Lessons
Please follow these steps to begin your lessons.
Step 1: Contact your tutor and arrange your lesson schedule
Please contact your tutor directly and decide the day, time, and lesson style.
Step 2: Make a monthly study plan with your tutor
At the beginning of each month, we recommend making a simple study plan with your tutor.

- How often you want to review
- What textbook or materials you will use
- What goal you want to reach by the end of the month
Step 3: Start your lessons and enjoy improving your Japanese
Please enjoy your lessons and do not worry about making mistakes.
Mistakes are an important part of language learning. Your tutor is here to support you.
3. Make the Most of Your Lessons
To improve your Japanese steadily, we recommend studying a little between lessons.
You do not need to study for a long time every day. Even 5 to 10 minutes of review can help you remember what you learned.
- Review new words after each lesson
- Write down questions before your next lesson
- Practice speaking aloud
- Review grammar little by little
- Use online materials between lessons
The most important thing is to continue at your own pace.
4. Japanese Online Courses
You can also study with HH JapaNeeds Japanese online courses between lessons.
HH JapaNeeds offers online courses for Japanese Foundations, Daily Life Japanese, and JLPT preparation from N5 to N1.
At this time, the courses are available for free.
Some lessons are available without logging in, and if you log in, you can use My Page to continue lessons and track your progress.

5. Change or Add a Tutor / Contact Us
